Students require transport to attend training, outreach programmes and festivals. Mobility is the key when dealing with young people who require adventure but do not have much income and need rescuing from a myriad of distractions. We had a wish list and acquiring a minibus was the first item on it. We started a crowd funding campaign on GoFundMe, to raise the funds necessary and, by the mercy of our spiritual master, a quarter of the amount was raised on that platform.

We also received very generous contributions from two of our saintly senior god brothers, H.G. Rädhä Ramaëa Prabhu from North Carolina, USA, and H.G. Govinda Prabhu from Switzerland, who were very happy to help in fulfilling a desire that Guru Mahäräja always expressed; that in every country priority has to be given to local preaching.

The minibus was purchased on Çré Nityänanda Trayodaçé and is already transporting students to our “Kértana in the Park programmes.” It also takes students back and forth from the University to the WuSA house for the book club, kértanas and instrument classes held there. We are currently custom wrapping the design for the bus so that it will be a moving advertisement for the holy name, our website and Çréla Prabhupäda.
